HAZARDS TO YOUR PET'S HEALTH
We all love our pets and want them to have healthy diets.
With that in mind, certain items should not be consumed.

CHOCOLATE (ALL FORMS)
It contains caffeine. This can be toxic and impact the heart and nervous systems.
The same goes for coffee, tea and caffeinated drinks.

ONIONS AND ONION POWDER
They have the ability to damage red blood cells and cause anemia when given in large amounts.
Ditto for garlic.

GRAPES AND RAISINS
They contain unknown toxins that can do damage to the kidneys.  A definite no-no.

MACADAMIA NUTS also contain unknown toxins.

AVOCADOS can be toxic.

MUSHROOMS
can result in shock and cause death.

ALCOHOL
can also result in coma and death.

MOLDY/SPOILED FOODS AND GARBAGE.
Do not feed!

FATTY FOODS

CHEWING GUM AND CANDY SWEETENED WITH XYLITOL
Seizures, lethargy and weakness can result if significant amounts are consumed.

BONES FROM FISH AND COOKED BONES can obstruct the digestive system.

ANTIFREEZE
The sweet smell and taste may attract your pet, but it's highly toxic to dogs and cats even in small amounts.  Keep them away from all spills.

IBUPROFEN AND ASPIRIN may also smell sweet and attract dogs.  But it causes ulceration, perforates the lining of the stomach and decreases blood flow to the kidneys.  Keep it out of your pet's reach.

COCOA BEAN SHELL MULCH FERTILIZER also contains chemicals that may cause serious illness.
