There is a simple way to measure your dog. Start with a pad of paper and a pen. Oh yes—and your dog. Place a front paw on the paper while your dog is standing on it. Measure by tracing from the back of the paw right behind the foot pad to the tip between where the two middle toes come together. Please refer to the chart below for approximate sizing. A snug fit is best.

XXsmall – Jack Russell, Lhasa Apso, Pug (1 1/2" to 2 1/4")
Xsmall – Sheltie, Miniature Schnauzer, Std. Dachshund (2 1/4" to 2 3/4")
Small – Beagle, Border Collie, Wheaton (2 3/4" to 3 1/4")
Medium – Doberman, Lab, Retriever (3 1/4" to 3 3/4")
Large – German Shepherd, Borzois (3 3/4" to 4 1/4")
XL – Akita, Old English Sheepdog (4 1/4" to 4 3/4")
